a little worried
hi all, me (USC) and my wife had our initial AOS interview on the 22nd
August. The lady was really nice and she said everything looks okay for
approval but the only reason why she cant approve it now is beacuse my
wife's security check needs to be sent in.
My concern is the wrote I-865 pending in my wifes pasport and she didnt
stamp her passport as read in a few posts here. The immigration officer
made it seem like she was satidfied but why didnt she stamp my wife's
passport like they do others.....is this a new procedure or what.
pls share some knowledge....thanks

Re: a little worried
They dont always stamp your passport. Some offices do an but most
dont. My local office doesnt stamp your passport unless it is an
emergency an it is their discreation of whether or not it is an
emergency. Keep in mind if they were to stamp your passport it would
only be if your approved. Your not approved until your wife's security
check comes back.
Good luck
