Default let's try this again

Hi everyone

Things are wonderful here ... Valentina and Denis are adjusting well... my daughter
loves them both and she is moving in with us full time now... she'll be off to
college next fall...

so..

Some questions about the AOS stuff..

1) On form I-485 it says "You must submit a completed form 325A if you are between
the ages of 14 and 79"... does this mean that Valentina's 3 year old son does not
need to have a 325A filled out?

2) Form I-765 is confusing.. on one page they say "K-1/ ... or K2.
(a)(6)......File your EAD application...."... then the last sentence is "Any EAD
application other than for a replacement must be based on your pending
application for adjustment under (c)(9)"... Huh?? Isn't this contradicting
themselves or am I misreading this? It's in the same paragraph on page 3... do
I file (a)(6) or (c)(9) and what's the difference?

3) On the I-864 form, it says under "for SOME sponsors" ... "If the immigrant you are
sponsoring is bringing a spouse or children, photocopies of the immigrants
affidavit of support for each spouse and/or child immigrating with the immigrant
you are sponsoring"....So my immigrant wife has to fill out an I-864 for her child
even though she's not even working and has no income?????

4) Has anyone ever filled out a W7 with the IRS in order to get an ITIN for a minor
K2? If you've done this, what exactly did you send along for evidence? (copies,
certified copies, notorized copies??)

Help lol!

Peace

Jeff

Fortunately there is an IRS field office near my work, so I walked in and brought the
originals and copies of my stepson's birth certificate
(w/translation), passport, and visa. The woman told me that there HAD TO BE school
records. I argued that the W7 instructions specify this as a "possible" form of
identification, not required, but she was adamant that the Service Center would
kick the application back if there was no school records. So I went back the next
day with copies of some report cards and it was a go.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

Was her supervisor also adamant? There is no requirement to be in school to
get an ITIN.

I didn't need to bring school records with me when I filed for my kids ITIN's.
