What does my wife need to bring at the US embassy in Pakistan when she goes for the interview?

I had my K3 interview in Manila, I think that the interview depends on the consul, other girls who had interview the same day as I was were asked proof like bank accounts or receipts of money from the husband to the wife and some even had to bring their wedding album pics ( 5 inch thick), in my case I was not asked to provide that. My advise is for your wife to bring everything she can as proof, some might think its silly but its better to have them all with you even if they dont ask for it.

She should get a packet with instructions as to what to bring.

When my husband went to his interview in Pakistan he brought a lot more than he needed. They asked for and kept the i-134 affidavit of support, one years tax return, letter from bank, letter from employer...

they also took the ds-157 form but i think that is needed only for men. They looked a lot at the pictures, include a lot of pictures of the wedding. Bring your Nikkah, 2 passport style photographs, police certificate, and medical exam. We brought a lot more than this, but these are the things they looked most at.

When you recieve Packet 3, it will give you an interview date as well as a list of things to bring. Email me or my husband if you have any questions about Islamabad Embassy.
