Default K3 timeline MSC/California

I live in California and when I applied for K3 visa I had to send it to Chicago. I
got an MSC number back now when I go on this site www.immigrationlink.com/news/mes926.html. It has two
timelines. One for California, which states the processing timeline date of 5/30/02
for I-129F and the Missouri one states they are processing on 4/30/02. Now why does
California state such a timeline when we don't send I-129F to them and why such a
difference in dates. Thank you for any help you can give me.

California does the K-1 visa which is for a fiance (F-129F). Missouri deals with the
K-3 visa which is for Spouses (still the F-129F). THat is why there is a difference
in timelines.
