Hi all,
I am working through filing a Fiance visa petition for my best friend and soulmate. I
proposed in Paris in July (29th). I've been reading a lot about this process and it
sounds overwhelming. I plan on filing this week if I have everything in order.
Here's the problem, I read that my fiance (From UK) could be turned back to London
when she and I plan to meet in April since we are in the process of obtaining a Visa.
I also read that she should provide proof of returning to her job and her son. What
are the chances of being turned back? What proof have you found to be sufficient.
I plan to visit her in London in February...is there any problem with that?
Much help appreciated...
Thank you,
Tim

She should bring proof of returning to the UK and keep it on her person. A lease or
an employment letter would be sufficient. She should not offer any information to the
POE dude other than answer his questions. It is up to the POE inspector whether she
gets entry. Most do although this group has seen a few who don't.
