K1 Visa Timeline

I am aware the due to Covid, things have stopped, however, just wondering from my partner in USA starting the K1 process, what's the usual time it takes for K1 to be issued?

The usual time, before the pandemic, was about 12 months. Now, who knows? Most likely longer than that.

Personally I think that a conservative estimate now would be more like 18-24 months. There are many thousands of applicants ahead of you.

We filed our application (I-129F) on 29th September 2019.

It got approved on 28th April 2021

Early May 2021 we got our I-797 Notice of Action.

We heard nothing from NVC until 29th July 2021 with a Case Number in an email.

That is as far as we have got. It has not reached the US Embassy/Consulate in London and I have had nothing further.
