K1 Visa at Texas Service Center--Slow!!!!!!

K1 Visa at Texas Service Center--Slow!!!!!!
I am planning to get a K1 visa through Texas Service Centre, but I
checked the processing time recently, it shows right now, in June 2005,
they are going through the applications back to last year August. THe
other service centre rather are now processing tha application in March
2005. Thats is huge difference and I am a little worried that it will
take me a long time. Is there any solution to speed up the process???

Nebraska used to be the slowest but they seem to have picked up, seriously, my only optomistic comment is that Texas picks up as well.
