I plan to apply for the K1 visa in order to bring my fiancee over from Pakistan. She
attended a 4-year college and worked in the US (practical training) for a short while -
total time in the US: 5 years. She then went back to Pakistan and has been there for the
last 6 months. In order to fulfill the police background check requirement, will she also
need to obtain some documentation from the US authorities (police, FBI, etc.). If so, what
is the process and timeline for obtaining the necessary documents.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

The US is one of the countries listed for which you cannot obtain police clearance. The US
Consulate will do that with an FBI search of her name when your I-129F petition is
approved and forwarded to them.
