Hello to Everyone,

I just wanted to post a quick note of excitement and thank you as my fiance's K1 was approved on last Monday the 26th and arrived on Thursday!

Just a little background for everyone, I'm the USC and my fiance is the UKC
I-129f sent/rec'd May 1 2009
I-129f approved August 6th
Packet 3 sent August 28th, however never received due to London postal strikes
Packet 3 sent in end of September
Interview October 26th
Visa in hand October 29th

He'll be here for Thanksgiving and the wedding is on for January!

Again, I just wanted to thank all of you who had responded to my frantic questions over the months and also to those of you who have posted your own

Happy travels to your FI, happy holidays and wedding (!!!) and don't forget to drop in every now and again.. AOS is up next.

After arrival:
-apply for SSN about 10 days after entering (but before day 76)

If your as efficent with the AOS as the K1 your husband-to-be should get it in no time at all

Wow congratulations! I'm so incredibly jealous though, since we filed end of May 2009 and we havent even recieved NOA1!!!

Always great to hear another couple can get on with the rest of their lives though, even if it does involve mountains and mountains of paperwork!
