Default K1 In Missouri

I was wondering if anyone has seen or ever heard of a K1 application coming
out of Missouri. I filed in Texas at TSC and 3 weeks later got NOA1 from
NBC. I sure hate to sit here and wait to only end up having to re-file in
Texas.
Thanks
Monty...

Yes Monty, I told you before that I have a case just like that. I've also heard back from my NBC AILA liaison about whether or not this was a USCIS screw up. Has your attorney heard back or checked with the NBC for you? If so, what did he or she say about this?

Hey Matt,
Im the DIY'er. I didnt use an attorney. I was wondering if I might get my
Senator on the trail for me? At least just to find out if Im in the right
line. I have seen a few posts about an I-130 that was filed in Texas that
went back and forth from Missouri to Chicago and then back to the attorney
that filed it saying Missouri doesnt process I-130's. How frustrating. I saw
your post about your NBC AILA and I was hoping you might fill me in on what
this person found out for you.
Thanks...

As far as I know, Missouri does not process K1's or K2's, only K3's and K4's. If you look at their processing reports, the only categories listed for I-129f are K3 and K4.

I realize Missouri does K3 and K4's. I thought it a bit strange since I
filed in Texas and have a return reciept stamped by TSC and 3 weeks later I
have NOA1 with MSC reciept number. And believe me when I submitted my
application it had a huge cover letter that said "K1" application in huge
letters. You could read that cover letter from 20 feet away. I guess I
should get my Senator in the game now. I hate to do that since I have waited
only 52 days. But what the heck if I filed in Vermont I could be done by
now....

The list says members going thru MSC (NBC). So those three are K3'ers. Sid and Angelika I know for a fact are K3'ers going thru MSC/NBC. The first one whose case was transferred to MSC perhaps had sent the original petition to the wrong place. It happens sometimes.
