Default K1 Medical Exam - How much does it cost?

Anyone recently done a K1 medical exam in London?
How much does it cost on average?

Is it just a flat fee or does it depend on who you areetc ?
I'm guessing the NHS doesn't cover it.

Thanks

mine cost £ 125 last week. Payable on the day at the doctors surgery. I paid in cash, but I believe you can pay by some credit cards.

You can pay by credit card, good luck, your problems will start when you arrive
in the USA.
I just got my EAD after a 7 month wait.

In the UK waiting...............alone!

Problems in the USA do not concern me, I will be with the one I love and
thats enough for me.

But thanks everyone - saving now!!!

Personally I would have preferred it if he nice blondelady doctor could have tested me for a hernia. Now that would have been worth £ 125 !

Cough please

£125 + £67 = K1 visa??

Hmm, better put in some overtime - this is getting to big bucks!!

Any other costs not mentioned excluding the initial $110??

As Cindy says, you're still in the cheap part. The whole process from K-1 to U.S. Citizenship will be more than $1000 (including the plane tickets and the postage and everything).

I have found that there are additional costs however ...

1) Massive phone bills because of missing my fiance so much - I wonder if BCIS have shares in the phone companies?

2) Credit card bills, where I go shopping to cheer myself up because of missing him so much

3) Money spent on books and magazines and food, trying to occupy myself so I don't get completely obsessed by missing him so much

4) The non-financial, but devastating, cost to my emotional well-being caused by missing him so much

Noticing a pattern, anyone?

Debbie (almost 8 months apart)

If for some reason you need an I-601 too, that will cost you $ 195 ( approx £ 120-125).

Make sure you keep your X Ray, you may well need that when you arrive in the USA.

Also, I have found that my doctors may well do my MMR & Tetanus jabs ( compulsory on a K-1 ) for free. Can cost another £ 50+.

Love is grand, and costs it too !
