Hi
USCIS had a computer crash at the end of october in vermont so were not able to send an approval notice NOA2 out for my I129F and my lawyer said she would work with the embassy and the NVC and USCIS when I get an interview.
And have now sent back my checklist and had my medical for the K1 and am now waiting for my interview date and noticed that the approval notice is asked for at the embassy, has anybody had their interview without this and been ok.
thanks
I129F Received July 2nd
NOA1 receipt notice July 24th
Petition approved October 30th (didnt find out until mid november when lawyer called about it as we got the letter from NVC first)
Letter from NVC November 9th
packet 3 arrived November 28th
Medical at knightsbridge December 5th

We brought our NOA2 to the K-1 interview, but it was never asked for. This wasn't in the UK, but I haven't heard of any ConOff ever asking to see it.

We needed it (the original) for the K-1 interview in Montreal. That said, it was in 1998 and things/times have changed so who knows.

Hi. My husband had his K1 interview in London in June and they didn't ask for his NOA2

I will be taking mine to the interview as a precaution.

He took ours as well. They just didn't ask for it. It all depends on your Conoff
