K1 Interview Q (KS-156) - "Do you intend to work in the US?"
For those of you that have gone through the K-1 interview procedure,
you might have a good answer for this. On form DS-156, there is a
question (box 32) "Do you intend to work in the US?" and then in
italics it states to give the "full name and address of the employer".
I am currently working for a company in Canada that has a US entity.
They are working on paperwork and are prepared to hire me once I have
the US Work Permit.
Seeing that they are going to hire me once I have the greencard, do I
enter the company name here, or should I leave it blank as I do not
have the "official job" yet. Not sure if it will get me in hot water
during the interview at the consulate.
Thoughts on what I should do ?
Thanks.

Salinator,
DS-156 is a generic non-immigrant visa application, and this question has more or less significance depending on the type of non-immigrant visa.
Go ahead and enter the information. If questioned about it, give the explanation as you have in your post here.
