Will do, anyone know if a small messenger bag can be taken through embassy security? Make it easier to carry the two document folders

Re: K1 interview
They didn't ask for the copies in the end, just took originals and returned my police & birth certificates.
Got there early expecting a queue but no queue outside so they let me in 50mins early (appt was 12:00)
No trick questions as such but was hard to explain how our romance had developed from gaming friends to a couple
Her part time work came up but I think the CO was happier when I mentioned my pending flat sale.
In and out in around 2hrs with a friendly smile at the end saying my visa was approved

It's not that unusual these days. When I met Mrs P on-line 18 years ago it was more unusual, but at least two of the BE regulars met their spouse on line before I met Mrs P.

Re: K1 interview
Jim and I met online on MIRC back in 1996 but didn't meet in person until August 1997. K-1 was quick and easy through Montreal. Applied I-129F to Vermont in March 1998, approved June 1998 in Montreal, married September 1998 and soon to celebrate our 18 anniversary. Like Ian, Jim applied for AOS in October 1998 but didn't become a PR until September 14, 2001 and a USC in December 2004.
BTW Congratulations.

First of all Mangaboy84 congratulations!!!! Bet you are feeling like you have had a big weight lifted off your shoulders and should be smooth sailing from here on out........I had to chuckle at your comment about trying to explain how you went from gaming friends to a couple. My hubs and I met in a game also.....Perfect World International as a matter of fact.....that was back in 2009 and our characters were married in game before we even met in person. I came over here and met him in late 2009, went back home and returned in Feb. 2010. We were married here in the CoE then I had to go through all of the other stuff to be able to stay here....now we are going the opposite way. Almost there as his interview is in a couple of weeks, then its off to America in September on the QM2 with our dogs!!!! Anyway hope all goes well with you and yours and you have a wonderful life in America!!! Take care.....
