Default k1 fiance fees at mumbai consulate

Hello, i was just wondering what the fees were for fiance (k1) visa. I know this is a
basic question but I have been getting conflicting answers in how much to make out
for the demand draft for the interview. We are not a k3(married), we are the
fiance(k1) one. My question is do we need one demand draft that includes application,
issuance and logistics fee all in one draft(Rs 7260) or do we just pay for the
application fee.

thanks in advance for clearing up this confusion jane

<<It seems to me that its a small amount to pay for interview and receiving

The fee is for the issuance of the K1 visa. You forget that your fiance has
already paid the fee for the process when he filed his petition. You will be
eventually be thankful for small mercies. The process has only begun for you. You
will see the INS fees pile up once you are in the US and have to file for
adjustment of status, advance parole, employment authorisation etc. etc. You will
be paying many such amounts to the INS for some years until you eventually become
an LPR. Best wishes, Ranjini

Thank you so much, now its all clear now that filing the petition for
I129f constitues the application fee and the $65 for the issuance fee.
The confusion is gone now. Now just hope the interview goes well!!

thanks jane
