Default K1 expires?

My fiance got his K1 approval back in July of 2008. He is set to come over in October as he wanted to finish out the summer at his current position and build up a lot of BGP to change over to USD. Does anyone know how long the K1 is good for? He told them at his interview that he was going to come over in October and they didn't say anything. I just wanted to make sure he wouldn't run into problems when he come over in 19 days, 15 hours and 37 minutes...not that I am counting or anything. Its only really been 3 months but I didn't know if there was a time limit.

Thanks

~Kate

You have six months from the date of a K-1 visa approval to use the visa

Happy counting...

Remind him that the exchange rate is falling.
Now it's like getting a pay cut every month instead of a raise.

Not that I'm against saving up before coming over!
