Hi All,

I just received the packet 3 from the Rio Consulate. Contents: -Cover letter,
addressed to Brazilian fiancé but with my (US Citizen) address -Instructions -Pkt 3
Fiance (6 pages) OF-169 -I-134

I already sent the I-134 to my fiancé. Will the Rio Consulate send my fiancé in
Brazil this too? Or, am I suppose to send this to her?

Also, since she has the I-134 from me, can she just use the on-line fillable PDF
forms (this would be quicker).

That's interesting. Every consulate works differently, but from what I've seen for
the I-129F, if the consulate cannot read the address or it's not included for the
Fiancee, then they mail it to the petitioner. For the I-130, it looks like it's
always mailed to the petitioner. It doesn't really matter who has it right now, the
key thing is to send it to the consulate completed immediately.

Hi John,

I think pkt 3 should have went to her. We used the downloadable forms and so far
there hasn't beeen any problems. As a matter of fact I don't think she received
pkt 3 at all.

She stopped by the consulate yesterday and got her date for the interview.
It's July 3rd!
