K1 Application sent
Thanks for all the help throughout this process.
The completed application was sent 5th February 2011, however according to royal mail/USPS is currently still in Customs  but we assume that it will get there soon. In terms of what happens next, does the Lewisville office send it on to another service centre of is it managed there? When would we expect to the the first NOA's? Thanks |
Re: K1 Application sent
Sorry I'm confused. Is your USC fiancee living or visiting you at the moment? Are you speaking of the I-129F to get the approval to start the K-1 process or are you speaking of the paperwork being returned to the US Consulate in London? What is this Lewisville office that you are speaking of?

Re: K1 Application sent
The I-129f, yes.
The lewisville address/Dallas Lockbox for courier as per http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-129finstr.pdf page 5. She is currently in the US, although has a Tier 1 visa for here. |

Re: K1 Application sent
Sorry. To confirm.
My USC fiance has a visa for the UK and consequently the I-129F was sent from here via Royal Mail Airsure on the 5th February as she was still in the UK at that time. She has since had to go back to the US to visit her family, middle of last week. I assume it is OK to send from here, especially as the USC has a visa to be in the UK. I went to USPS.com to track the packet with the tracking number I was given by Royal Mail and as I understand it, it is still in Customs on its way to the final destination. |

Thanks Your USC will be sent an I-797C Notice of Receipt within 2 weeks of the package being received. When that will get to you all in the UK, no idea. As you can see, Customs holds docs sometimes. Re: K1 Application sent
Thank you, sorry for the confusion. I understand how my first post may have been read with confusion.
I guess that we can only wait, the ironic side being that USC could have posted it when she landed in USA last week and it would have been there by now!! |
