The results are sketchy and a little dated (2000). No one has bothered to input their experiences for filing in Miami since then although I recall several others who have. Perhaps you might want to search on google for their experiences.

Hi there!
The following is our experience filling for AOS at Miami INS Office:
The INS office in Miami is very crowded, we arrived there about 5:00am and left almost 8 hours later. It is really hard to find parking and our car got towed. But everything was worth it. They are really competent and helpful.
(They have AC and TV !!!)
They checked our papers and then sent us to the cashier and after paying the forms' fees, the cashier gave us an envelope which had ALL my interviews' appointments (AP, EAD, FINGERPRINTING, AOS INTERVIEW). That was fabulous!
P.S. Do not forget to turn off your cell phones inside the building, they are very restrictive about it!

Hi Marcela!
When did you applied for AOS, EAD & AP? Please share your timelines
for those applications, if you don't mind? I went through same process
except for AP. Thanks!

I applied for AOS in Sept 26th.
The same day I got the appointments for the AP (2 weeks later)
for fingerprinting (1 month later) for EAD (2 months later) and for the AOS interview that will be in 8 months.
Where did you apply for your AOS?

Hi!
Thanks for the quick response. I applied in Miami also last Oct.2001.
Fingerprinted Dec.2001, got my EAD Feb2002. Notice for AOS Interview
Aug.2002 then my interview date is on March2003. Although they said
that processing time for AOS is 9 months I still waited over a year
for that.
I renewed my EAD because they set my AOS interview 1 month after it
expires (to collect more money from us?) now they sent me a receipt
stating that processing time for EAD renewal is 1 year(ridiculous!)...
I can't still don't get it, how they process applications, is it first
in first out or the other way around? I'm a little worried right now.
I'm thinking of asking help from our representatives.
Thank you for your time, appreciate it. Please keep us posted.
