Hi all!
I have a Green Card, I'm married to a US citizen and I want to bring
my children from Argentina (they live with their mother but she will
allow them to come to the US). I know my wife can petition for them as
their stepmother filing a I-130 but I've been told that the time frame
in Texas SC (we live in Florida) is more or less 3 years, we can't
wait so long! My ex-wife is sick, she has Lupus and spends time in the
hospital from time to time. Can we file for a K-4 visa without a K-3
as I'm already living in the US? Would that be faster?
Thank you very much for your help!!!
Guillermo.

Unfortunately, I don't think you can file a K-4 in this case. I would
suggest your contact your Congressperson for help. In certain cases, cases
can be expedited for various reasons, and yours might qualify.
