K-3 in Pakistan

K-3 in Pakistan
Hi Jim,
i am new to this group.My husband is from Pakistan.We were approved on
Dec.2, NVC forwarded the info to Islamabad on Dec 11, we are still
waiting. I have called the embassy numerous times,they tell me that
they have not received the info from NVC. I then called the NVC, and
told them the embassy has not received the info,the reply from NVC is
for me to call the embassy and ask them to contact the NVC to ask them
to resubmit the info. Then i call back to the embassy to give them
this message,and they tell me to fax info to Mr Raja about my K-3. I
never get the same answer.
MY TIMELINE:
I-130- first noa May 6 - approved Sept 17th
K-3 - first noa June 4 -approved Dec 2nd

My wife is in Islamabad, my first NOA was on August 3rd. NO 2nd NOA.
It's talking much much longer for the people in MUSLIM countries.

Welcome to this forum!!
I think we all passed by same situation and few are in same situation as you. I took my file 1 and half month or so from MSC to Islamabad.
Something I did when called to Embassy that worked for me, was to ask to be transfered to Consular Section and there at the end asked the name to the person with whom I talked with. That worked for me, cz when I called last night I asked to speak with the person I talked before. Maybe this will help you, maybe all will depend on the case.

It's taking much longer for you because you screwed up your paperwork.
Serves you right. Have you registered yet with the INS.

It seems like ur wait was longer than the others. you stated that ur first NOA was in june and just now ur getting finished, I saw lizzie's timeline and her first NOA was in august and shes around the same procedures as u now.
was there any reason for the delay or they just took their merry old time?! i hope u get done with this quickly!
