Hi,
I'm new and find this website very helpful. I recently received notice(12/24) from the NVC that they have sent our paperwork to Nicosia, Cyprus. Does anyone have any K-3 experience with the embassy in Cyprus? Any and everything would be appreciated, including what to expect during the interview if possible.

Pitani: I just now went to:

http://www.marriagebasedvisas.org/visa/k-3/search.php

and entered "Cyprus" in the Search Criteria. I also changed the
starting date for the search to 1-1-01... and there is one K-3 couple
that just completed in Cyprus in Oct. 2002, I believe. It shows that
they have an e-mail address available if you go there and click on the
link.

Please keep us informed of any new developments. I'll be watching so I
can add your data to the statistics that I am posting. You are one of
17 couples that I found DID get approval recently. I used your
timeline to come up with an average. You'll see your name in the
thread.

See the thread with the Subject line something like: K-3 Approval
Stats.

18-Sept-02 Date of Receipt by NSC per 1st NOA for I-130
20-Oct-02 Received 1st NOA for I-130
20-Oct-02 I-129F for K-3 sent to MSC
21-Oct-02 Date of Recipt by MSC per 1st NOA for K-3/I-129F
26-Oct-02 Received 1st NOA for K-3/I-129F

Thank you for responding. I found that the couple you mentioned is from Cyprus. My husband is from Lebanon and the nearest Embassy that processes K-3s is Cyprus. There are 2 other couples besides us(Lissa&Mo) that are listed. The embassy listed under our details state American Embassy/Abidjan which is incorrect. I don't think the search will help but thanks anyway. I will, however keep you posted of any new developments.
