K-3 Information Needed

Can anyone please tell me the steps that one has to take after the spouse enters the
USA on a K-3 visa? What applications he/she has to file in order to get a green card?
Your response here will be greatly appreciated. I have checked on various sites but
they are all confusing. I am not sure if a K-3 visa holder has to file for
conditional permanent residency, and then have it removed and then file for permanent
residency. Thanks.
