k-3 approved need advice based on your experiences
I have several questions to those individuals with experience. Some
background information about us: My wife approved for K-3 visa and
will be arriving shortly.
1. Any recommendations on important papers to bring from her country??
2. How difficult is the clearance through Immigration for her alone
with her K-3 packet? She is nervous. What does she need to make sure
she receives. Should she keep a copy of her I-94 form????
3. This is a very excellant site. Does anyone know of any web sites
that list the steps to follow For example submitt 1-129 form, submitt
I 130 form, etc.?
4. What is after the AOS????? Do spouses have to take a citizenship
test???? Once approved that is it???????
Thanks in advance for the much appreciated help on this ordeal.

1. I'd recommend bringing some (international) birth certificates; if you married in your spouse's home country also some (international) marriage certificates and of course make sure her passport is up to date...
2. No need to be nervous, it'll sure work out just fine. She'll need her 'brown envelope', passport, customs form and I-94 form. The officer will attach the lower part of form I-94 to her passport. Tell her to make sure it'll be valid at least for the time of the Visa. Sometimes it happens that the officers mistakenly fill in the wrong year on that form (seen it happen 3 times...)
3. Go to http://www.visajourney.com/faq/index.htm , you'll find an excellent source of FAQs answered
4. AOS is the procedure to become a permanent resident aka 'greencard holder'. If her AOS is approved prior to your 2nd wedding anniversary, she'll be a 'conditional permanent resident' aka 'greencard for 2 years' and will have to remove conditions after those 2 years (apply 90 days before those 2 years run out). Here you'll find info on removal of conditions: http://uscis.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/i-751.htm
If her AOS is approved after your 2nd wedding anniversary, she'll be issued a greencard for 10 years.
Since your application is based on marriage, your spouse can apply for US citizenship 3 years after becoming a permanent resident. You can find a guide to naturalization here: http://uscis.gov/graphics/services/natz/guide.htm
