Default K-1 Visa Confusion (Canadian to America)

Hi all again:

Thanx so far to those who have helped me out. I have some more questions that perhaps
you can clarify for me.

1. If I have an I-192 US Entry Waiver (criminal record) when I go to the Consulate
interview, can anyone tell me the PROBABILITY or LIKLIHOOD of approval or denial
assuming all other things are in order? I.E. Is there a good reason they might
still decide to reject the K-1 Visa approval due to this issue even though I have
an I-192 Waiver?

I see it this way at the moment. The I-192 gives me right to enter. The K-1 gives me
right to enter for the purpose of marriage. So.... on what basis would they or could
they deny me or is it unlikely?

2. Is it my choice which Consulate I want to use (Montreal or Vancouver)?

3. If I can visit my fiance during the K-1 Visa Process (I can see no reason why I
can't), is there any reason that I cannot be "visiting" her during this whole
time period (assuming the length of time does not involve "over-stay") and drive
to Canada for the Consulate Interview and then return with an approval?

Thanx for all your input.
