K-1 and Diversity Visa Lottery?
Does anyone know if it's safe to apply for the "Green Card" lottery while petitioning
for a K-1 visa? Would such an application establish an intent to immigrate, and with
the K-1 being a "non-immigrate" visa??¿¿
I know the chances are not good with the lottery, but my fiancé and I are only about
to begin the K-1 process. 1-129F has not even been sent in yet. I'm figuring why not
take a shot at the lottery? What can it hurt? Unless it will hurt the K-1? Since we
are just starting I'm thinking the time difference may not be all the great??¿¿
We've already been very lucky in some other things!
