Default K-1 / 129F still waiting for CSC. 7 Months so far.

Hello,
Just an update on my case. I've been waiting for a total of 7 months
now for the approval of my 129F (Moscow). I returned an RFE October 26
th., and still have herd nothing. Its seems that others are getting
there new cases approved in 3 to 4 months. I have had not luck using
my congress woman (Woolsey), she has been total worthless, and
unhelpfull. I can not get any information out of the CSC. They only
repete what is on the recording. What to do?
    :???((((

Hi,
I am also dealing with CSC. Similar timeline as yours. We filed in
July 2002, received RFE October 22, evidence received by INS Nov 11,
evidence put in their computer on Nov 26. Said 30 days to get
decision. Still waiting.

Yesterday, I called INS again, some officers are MUCH more helpful and
sympathetic than others, this time I got a nice one. They said that
all CSC petitions are on hold pending a special security review that
started a week ago Tuesday. This special review has ALL officers
working around the clock to complete review of "millions" of petitions
they have pending. No petitions are progressing until this review is
completed. THey said to expect this will add about a month to any
estimated timeframe we were given. They didn't say what the review
was for or why suddenly the need to stop all work while they do this.
Really frustrating.

Hope this is helpful and if anyone has any more info on this, I would
love to understand why they are doing this.

Thanks.
