Hi i Applied for the EOS Last year and got a letter from Newark,New
jersey INS notifying important dates. Now i was on h`1 and was laid off
and my wife is pregnant and has to leave her job too.Now we have moved
to georgia with my mother in law and plan to live here for few years
and get our own apartment etc.
What should i do.Keep my case in New jersey.Would i hav to prove my
residence in new jersey at the time of intreview.Should i move my case
to georgia i am afraid that file would get lost and many more
hasseles. What is advised in this scenario.
Should i keep my case in new jersey.Or try to move it to gergia in
this case it would be easy traveling also i live in hinsville gergia
around 50 mils from savannah i assume INS here would have faster
processing times than new jersey. Also should i notify INS of my
address change or keep it as it is with mail forwarding or give any
other relatives New jersey address.I am afraid by giving my new
address my case would b transferred to gergia.
Thanks

What do you mean by EOS? Are you talking about an H-1B extension petition?
Or do you mean AOS, based on an I-140 immigrant worker petition? If the
latter, what month and year was the I-485 filed?

If you are not actually doing the job on which the EOS or AOS was based, you
have a lot bigger problems than an address change!!
