Quick backstory: my wife and I were married in the US last week and are planning on starting the I-130 process soon. I am from the UK, she is a US citizen and we have been a couple for some time now - I travel as often as I can on the VWP.
My issue is: we do not have any “joint income” documents to submit as evidence. We love together when I’m here of course and when I am back in the UK I send her money via PayPal regularly (I pay a portion of the rent) but as a foreigner I’m fairly sure I can’t open an account with her.
Do you guys have any ideas, tips or advice? What is the way round this if any? Any would be appreciated! Thanks!

You actually could open an account with her... or be added to her existing account... but there is no requirement to have joint financial documents. So no worries.

You misunderstand if you think there is a "joint income" requirement. Not sure what that means?
For evidence of comingled finances you might consider getting your name on the rental agreement/electric bill /other utilities rather than just a paypal contribution.

When people are living on separate continents. producing documents is hard as you have correctly point out. For this reason, the documents listed are suggestions only. You do not have to produce them all.
When I completed the process, as I recall all we submitted were various photos and reservations/ticket stubs of places that we had been/visited together over the 3 years of our relationship prior to marriage. For example, us both at the Empire State Building, us both at Myrtle Beach, our wedding day, and on hunnymoon again at the beach. We submitted reservation confirmations that had both ours names on too.
We were approved with no issues

Myself and my my US wife have joint bank accounts with both our US banks, but also joint cell phone account, car insurance, and she is the cosigner on my car loan. If you any of these then that would be beneficial too.

In the FWIW department, many newlyweds will have no joint documents and their cases get approved.

I have a huge problem with joint income. We earn it, my wife spends it
