Re: Interview tomorrow (London)
Hi everybody, just to let u know, i'm currently in a cyber cafe after going to the doctors, have an hour to kill.
Well i got there around 7:20am, there were a family in front of me, by 8am there were around 20 people queueing up. The security guard let us in, checking our appointment letters.
We were directed to the side of the building, and had any electrical equipment confiscated. I went upstairs, handed in my letter, then was asked to take a seat. About 20 minutes later i was called upto one of the booths to check my paperwork, everything was fine, including the passport photos done in a photo booth in the post office (i was expecting to have to get more photos). I then went to the cashier, paid my money (£213.34 today), and then took the receipt back to the booth. About 10 minutes later i was called to another booth, and asked to swear to tell the truth. The gentlemen then asked me some simple questions taken from the papers i had submitted, and i was then asked to go to the doctors, this was all done by 8:35 !! I was the first person out.
Made my way to the doctors (not hard to find, 15 minutes walk) and went to reception, and was given a folder to fill out with all my papers, i took that back and paid my £125, then was asked to go downstairs to a basement. After 20 minutes waiting then i had my blood sample taken. After another 10 minutes i was taken to a cubicle and asked to strip to the waist, and then i had my chest xray, and then the checkup with the doctor. I needed to have the MMR jab, so i paid another £35 and went to get that done. I left there, and was given my chest xray to take with me.
And that's it, i'm now here sitting down waiting to go back to the embassy. I was soooo scared before hand, but it was all for nothing, lots of waiting around and not much else

Hi Rich.. Many congrats to both of you! Your experiences have made us both
that bit more confident when it comes to our turn.
Mailed I129F to Vermont via FedEx from the UK on the 23rd while fiancee was
here in england.. It arrived Arrived at VSC
at 11:53 EST on the 24th and was receipted. Notice of Action was sent out on
the 28th and we received it yesterday 4th Oct.. It says 15-21 days to
process this type of case..
Quick question for you., the £213.34 is the figure ($325) they list on the
OF169 which isnt used for K1 as the IV15 seems to be the one. Did you have
to pre-pay at barclays, the £46 for the 156? as well or was that the only
money you have parted with. I know about the £125 for the Medical plus any
additional jabs..
Its whether or not I need to take the £46 paying in slip to barclays.. ;-)
