Interview Monday - Have I got everything?
Our interview is Monday, using the DORA Program in Dallas (which is why I'm taking everything with me to the interview).
Apart from the forms, I have -
Medical Exam Results
Immigration Photos
Birth certificates
Marriage certificate
Passport
Drivers licences
Tax Returns
Employment letter
Then as evidence I have -
Photos of us together
Invitations adressed to both of us
Letters addressed to both from my family in England
Christmas/birthday cards
Joint bank statements
I'm getting really nervous now! Hopefully I have everything.

Hi,
If they approve you that day, they're most likely going to ask you for your EAD card and your AP document if you have those. I've seen some people who were not asked to turn in the AP, but some are. Basically, those are covered under the heading of "all documents ever issued to you by the USCIS" part of your interview letter (if you received one).
Good luck and let us know how it goes!

HI CF,
I agree with SG and Sibsie, the officer wanted to see Sadegh's SS card, and kept his EADs (he had 2). We brought the AP's but weren't asked to return them...but bring them just in case.
Besides joint bank statements, do you have any utilities or insurance stuff that show both your names? If not, don't stress, but if you do, bring them.
Also make sure to make photocopies of everything ahead of time and bring them with you. Our officer only wanted to see and keep the photocopies, she never looked at our original bank statements or utility bills.
Good luck on Monday!

Re: Interview Monday - Have I got everything?
best wishes to you ......my husband and I had our interview in May of
this year, and the interview lasted no more than 20 minutes......we took
everything and lucky we only gave him the following:
copies of both employment letters, a copy from the minister who married
us, a new copy of support, a letter from our bank stating we both we
have the following accounts in good standings, and have excellent credit
with them, and a copy of my life insurance and that is all.. no tax
returns, no pictures, ..... and my husband got his 10 year green card in
less than a week. our interview was on a Tuesday and he got his 10 year
card the following Monday.....all I can say a big big big big burden has
be lifted and now we can get on with our life..
any more help/questions email me

Hi CF,
Sounds like you've got it pretty much covered. I also took my 401(k)
and life insurance statements showing my wife as primary beneficiary,
as prrof of valid relationship.
Good luck!
P.S. I took all that you listed, and more, to our interview - all in a
2" ring binder, which was bursting at the seems. The DAO looked at
probably 5 items from my folder...
