Hi all,

My wife and me went to an interview to Louisville after filing an AOS in May (pretty
quick date huh ?). The appointment was at 2 pm, we arrived around
1.30. We must have been the last to be interviewed, because we were the only people
in the waitingroom in the end. I was pretty nervous, not because of the
questions, but because on the appointment letter it said that we didn`t meet
the income requirements and that we needed a co-sponsor. We were quite amazed
by that, since we were sure we DO meet the requirements. My wife went in first,
and she asked about the affadavit refusal, and the lady interviewing her had a
look at the paper and she also said it must have been a mistake and she would
take care of it. The interview itself went pretty well, I think. She didn`t ask
too many hard questions. How did you meet ? How long were you dating before you
got married ? Do you have kids ? Does your wife have kids ? Is she pregnant ?
(actually she meant my wife there, but since we were talking about my 17 year
old stepdaughter right before that, i said i didnt know ... lol ... luckily
she could appreciate a lame joke like that). Anyways, the questions weren`t too
hard i think. Just be sincere and if you don`t know something, just tell `m.

I didn`t expect my green card yesterday, but it was pretty disappointing that she
didn`t give a decision yet though. Anybody got any idea how long it`ll take before
we`ll hear something ? And whether they`ll send the green card together with the
decision ?
