Default Interview June 20 - Frankfurt

Basri received notification today that his interview in Frankfurt will be on
June 20th!

The letter also stated that they have scheduled a medical exam that same morning.
There's no way he can be in Frankfurt for the 7:30am medical, so will go on the 14th
to have medical done. Thought some later down the road may like to know that the
option is there to do medical same day as interview though.

Purchasing his ticket this weekend - for July 3rd!

Yeeeehaaawww. We're finally getting there!

Kacey Petition sent 03/20/02 (NSC) NOA 1 03/25/02 NOA 2 05/01/02 Upcoming Interview
06/20/02 (exactly three months from original submission!!!) (Frankfurt)

Hi!!!

I don't want to step on your toes, but don't you have to wait 6 weeks after the medical examination before you are able to enter the US via K1-visa?
I read it somewhere. And that was one reason why I had the medical examination already in May and having my interview next Monday then and flying over in July then. I wish you good luck!!!

Never heard of this - generally the medical is the same day as the interview

I believe the medical has to be less than 6 months old at the time of your interview
(or is it one year?), but there is no restriction on traveling after the medical.
Many folks here travel to the US only days after they receive their visas, which may
only be a few days since their medical as well. In the UK your medical is the same
day as your interview. In Canada you need to schedule an appointment with a INS civil
surgeon at least a few weeks before your interview, so you can get the results to
take to the interview. Take Care. Shelley

It is specifically stated in the packet 3 that he could visit any of the listed
doctors any time prior to the interview. And then the interview states that in case
he has not already had medical exam, they have scheduled one for the day of the
interview.

I have never heard of the 6 week wait time either. Where did you hear that?
