Interview Date London
Hello all, I sent in my forms on Saturday 6th to the Embassy in London
and got an envelope thru the post today (10th) with my K1 interview
date, bloody fast service. My date is 22 April :-)
A question to people who have been thru the interview already, would i
be able to take my 11 year old daughter with me? she has never been to
London and really wants to come with me but if she isnt allowed into
parts of the Embassy or Doctors then i wont be able to take her.
Cheers
Julian

I dont think they allow anyone other than the applicant into the medical as there is no room available. The interview itself is alright.
I did hear you need to bring ID for anyone else coming with you to the interview.
Not sure if an 11 year old would still be allowed into the medical - is there anyone that would look after her while you are in there??

Re: Interview Date London
Hi
I went into the waiting room of Dr Phelans when my 19 yrs son had his medical but was not allowed downstairs where the medical/x rays take place. I also went into the US Embassy with him and just waited in the waiting area with him while he went up to the counter. Before we went in the was a security guard on the door checking everyone who went in and why they were going in. I had to show my passport and explain I was with my son. No problem at all. How would your daughter manage in the Dr's waiting on her own upstairs? It is a very nice room but could be boring for her.
Good luck
Maggie

Re: Interview Date London
Hi Maggs, She would be ok waiting if she knew i wasnt going to be long,
just trying to make sure we wouldnt get separated for any length of
time. If shes allowed to wait in the waiting room and come into the
embassy with me then i think its ok, shes already excited and i hope i
can work it so she can be there.
Thanks again for the help people
