Default Interview Date (London)

Got my date in the post, and as people on here have advised I think putting a 'date to travel' in the very near future can help get a suitable date. Told them I'd like to travel middle of September, and my K-1 interview is on the 9th.

The funny thing is, the e-mail I got on the 20th saying they were only processing mail from August 8th seems kind of strange seeing as the letter from the embassy is dated the 20th and so our forms did not go in the mail till the 13th!

Good luck on your interview!

I still hold to the belief that the person that returned your email told you the wrong processing date. I think they messes up somewhere in the communication with the IV office.. and that they were actually opening the 18th apps. London's really quick.

The date to travel thing does seem to work with London, we did the same and got the date we requested.

Congrats on your interview date!
