Well, I got packet 4 this morning, just as I was about to email the
consulate to enquire. So here's my timeline to share - it's pretty quick
compared to most, I guess. My sympathies are with anyone going through a
slow SC.
I-129F submitted to VSC: sometime in November.
NOA1 date: 2002-11-21 (received early December)
Approved as per 'case status online': 2002-12-30
Sydney Consulate received approval: 2002-12-31
Packet 3 arrived: prior to 2003-01-07 (I was on holiday, no idea
exactly)
Medical done: various visits between 2003-01-08 and 2003-01-21 (initial
exam, jabs, xrays, bloodwork, more bloodwork due to an accident at the lab,
more jabs, etc) (done here in Melbourne)
Packet 3 checklist returned: 2003-01-13
Packet 4 arrived: 2003-01-31
Interview date: 2003-02-10
Days since last seen fiancee: 212. :-(
So, a quick question, for anyone whose consulate works like this with
regards to medicals (ie, not same-day, London people):
The packet instructions say to bring my medical results with me, does
this include my x-ray? I guess better safe than sorry, but the damn
thing's just so unwieldy, and the only instructions I've heard regarding
it are "give it to the agent at immigration along with your brown
envelope".
Cheers,
Barnaby
