INS in Boston
Can anyone please let me have a number to call the INS in Boston or if you
have any experience with filing AOS since Dec 1st when they stopped the
walk-in applications. I want to know how long it takes to receive a receipt
for the money I will be sending

you have to phone the 800 number as far as we know....or check the
main INS site for the offices in that area.

This is the number for the National Customer Service Center at 1 (800) 375-5283....
HOWEVER I strongly urge you to go to the JFK building (early) and go room E-160 this is the customer information center, take your A# if applicable and speak to an officer.
People have recieved misinformation from the NSCS and so speaking to an officer face to face may be your only route to reliable information. Take a Mass picture ID or your passport and go before 12.00 otherwise they wont give you a ticket.
PS Just my opinion but this is alot of hassle just to find out when you will recieve a receipt....
