Does anyone know where you apply for a K3 or K4 Visa? My husband is a US citizen.
We're living in Canada, where I was born and our 4 kids were born. We want to move to
the US next June. I have read on the INS site that there is a new K3 and K4 visa that
has been implemented that allows us to go to the US and await some of the paperwork
to be done while we're already there. I do, however, have to file an I-129F even
though we're already married. I don't know how long this takes, and it has to be
approved before we can get the K3 visa. Also, we have to file an I-130 for me and it
cannot be yet approved, but it must be filed. It's really hard to know how long in
advance to file this to ensure it isn't approved before we file for the K3 visa. We
went to the consulate in Toronto and they knew absolutely nothing about what I was
talking about. Does anyone have any information? Thanks.
