Hi all,
The interview was very simple. The consulate spoke very good Portuguese so do
not worry if your fiance does not know English well.
Make sure you fiance has the I-134. and a letter from your employer stating how
much you make a year and how long you have been employed. THIS WAS VERY
IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!
Alot of visas were denied because of this.
Tell your fiance to not ramble on when asked a question. Only give the
information theey are asking for. One fiance spoke she was only interested in
having alot of money and she was denied.
They asked where I worked to see if my fiance knew this. She did.
They asked if she truly loved me. She did.
She was asked to swear that everything in the packet she gave them was true and
then she was told to return at 3:00 pm to receive her visa.
If anyone has a certain question they would like to ask me, I will try to help
where I can. I hope this was helpful. My fiance said she was really nervous
for nothing.
