22nd March 2014 - I-130 and supporting documents sent
27th March 2014 – Receipt acknowledged
10th May 2014 - I-130 Approved
24th May 2014 - Case number received
**At this point I spent some time gathering all my documentation**
5th June 2014 - DS-260 and notification of readiness submit
19th June 2014 - Medical examination in Knightsbridge completed
9th July 2014 - Letter received with interview date (25th July)
25th July 2014 - Interview completed. Visa approved
22nd March 2014 - I-130 and supporting documents sent
27th March 2014 – Receipt acknowledged
10th May 2014 - I-130 Approved
24th May 2014 - Case number received

Phew, the I-130 notice of receipt has finally come in.
30/07/2014 I-130 sent to the Embassy
31/07/2014 I-130 delivered to the Embassy
05/08/2014 I-130 payment taken by USCIS
08/08/2014 Fingerprints taken at New Scotland Yard (for foreign police check)
09/08/2014 I-130 notice of receipt received from USCIS
Note: the I-130 notice of receipt from USCIS states that the current processing timescales for the I-130 is 45 - 60 days.
30/07/2014 I-130 sent to the Embassy
31/07/2014 I-130 delivered to the Embassy
05/08/2014 I-130 payment taken by USCIS

July 5 - Received police certificate (clean as a whistle)
July 9 - Case number received
July 15 - Medical booked for July 18
July 18 - Medical
July 24 - DS-260 and Notification of Readiness submitted
July 28 - CEAC updated to Ready
August 5 - CEAC updated again, still says Ready
August 9 - Interview letter received, booked for August 21

July 5 - Received police certificate (clean as a whistle)

Confirmation of receipt of I-130 received by email. Processing time quoted as 45-60 days from date
4th July 2014
Case number received for myself and 3 children. Medical booked for Friday 11th July.
11th July
Medical undertaken at doctors W1 in London for myself and 3 children
23rd July 2014 Received notification of interview for 11th August 2014
11th August 2014 Interview - Visa approved. Advised 2 weeks until passport returned
Confirmation of receipt of I-130 received by email. Processing time quoted as 45-60 days from date

CR-1 Application
14th April - mailed I-130 petition to USCIS
28th April - payment taken [no receipt of petition email received]
21st June - receive letter from USCIS stating I-130 approved 14th May
8th July - had not received case number so submitted a web enquiry
10th July - received email stating embassy had sent me a letter with the case number on 19th June and provided case number (I did not receive the letter)
10th July - booked medical for 22nd July
13th July - submitted DS-260 and readiness form

Aug. 14th, 2014: Credit card charged for I-130 (no 'receipt of petition' email or text was received, although we did fill out the form).
