15/09/17 - Package arrived and signed for at Embassy
18/09/17 - Payment taken at Embassy
20/09/17 - Belgian police certificate arrives but has a mistake, requested updated version.
20/09/17 - Go to GP to get vaccinations updated (no record from back home so get new vaccinations)
26/09/17 - Belgian police certificate arrives, mistake has been fixed but now a new mistake. Requested updated version.
26/09/17 - Requested long form birth certificate (Belgium)
29/09/17 - UK Police Certificate arrives (ACRO)
09/10/17 - Belgian police certificate arrives and is now correct
15/10/17 - Long form and certified birth certificate arrives
19/10/17 - Sexual health clinic appointment for check up
21/10/17 - Letter received Embassy with 3 RFEs
23/10/17 - Naturalization Certificate Petitioner copied
23/10/17 - All RFEs sent back via recorded next day delivery
23/10/17 - Requested Belgian medical dossier in case I need it for my future Knightsbride medical

So our journey begins! Today we made the first step on the hopefully not so long road to the U.S.

26/10 - I-130 sent via recorded delivery
26/10 - Already have a lot of documents such as ACRO, Police Certificate, Military Record etc. Although will need to apply for some of these again as they are dated June 2017 (Didn't think we'd wait this long to start the process originally)

Now to just impatiently wait for a response! Recent timelines on this post are very encouraging so I am hopeful for a speedy process.

27/10/17 - NOA2 arrived in the snail mail this morning
27/10/17 - My LDN number also arrived in the snail mail this morning.

All of a sudden this is going very quickly.

I-130 approved: 28th Jan 17
DS-260 submitted: April 12th
Medical: 16th October 2017
Interview: 20th October 2017
(221g - medical results not yet arrived at embassy)
Visa Issued: 25th October 17
Visa in hand: 30th October

We slowed the process down after the I-130 was approved in January. A previous J1 visa had the 2 year home rule attached and I still had 9 months to fulfil.

Submitted the I-130 so early because we panicked after November 8th (same-sex couple) plus the fee was going up.

08/11 - Requested Medical and Vaccination Records from GP, was told they would take 7 to 10 working days. Charged £19.45 for the documents (Do they make up these numbers?!)

04/9/17 - I-130 tracking updated to reflect attempted delivery. Rescheduled for 06/9/17.

[very long-feeling gap in which we gathered i864 info, medical records etc]

18/11/17 - LND number sent by post TO A DIFFERENT ADDRESS (not my mailing address!) luckily we know the people who just moved in and picked it up the same day.
19/11/17 - Filled in DS 260 and booked interview online
20/11/17 - Booked medical over the phone with KD
24/11/17 - Attended medical - need extra vacc info and 2 injections
29/11/17 - Had vacc at GP, evidence emailed to KD.
