21st October 2013: I-130 filed by London 12th November 2013: I-130 approved 19th November 2013: Case transferred to IVU 2nd December 2013: DS-260 submitted 13th December 2013: Medical and HK Police Certificate application (which they will mail directly to the embassy -- hopefully by the end of January) 2nd January 2014: Notification of Applicant Readiness submitted And now we wait for an interview date. Unfortunately my visa expires next week so I'm headed back to the States on the 8th :(

21st January 2014: Interview in London. His HK Police Cert hadn't arrived yet so they put his case on "Administrative Processing" until they receive it. Everything else went smoothly, though! :D

14 Nov 13 - mailed i-130 to USCIS in London 19 Nov 13 - NOA1 received in the post. (No email confirmation received.) - card charged $420. 10 Dec 13 - received confirmation of i-130 approval from USCIS via contact form 13 Dec 13 - NOA2 letter received in the post. along with receipt for payment 04 Jan 14 - Letter from US Embassy with case number arrived in the post 09 Jan 14 - submitted DS-260 online form & notification of readiness 10 Jan 14 - Scheduled medical for 20 January 20 Jan 14 - Medical exam successfully completed 23 Jan 14 - CEAC update status to "Ready" 07 Feb 14 - Received a letter from US embassy- visa branch - with interview date scheduled for 18 Feb. |

6th Jan 2014....Sent in I-130. 7th Jan 2014....I-130 received and signed for. 9th Jan 2014....$420USD charged to credit card. 10th Jan 2014...Received NOA1 email dated 9th Jan, stating 30 - 45 days for processing. 13th Feb 2014...Petition Approved. 19th Feb 2014...Received NOA2 letter in the post with credit card receipt. Just as we were starting to feel on edge things have moved along. :) |

3rd Dec 2013 - Petition approval received via post 23rd January 2014 - Attorneys discover after enquiries that we now have case numbers and instruct us to prepare and submit DS-260. 23rd Jan - medical booked for 4th Feb 27th Feb - DS-260 submitted 3rd Feb - Notification of applicant readiness submitted 4th Feb - attended medical 26th Feb - interview date confirmed for 24th March. |
