08/05/15 Chased up with London IVU for their missing letter with Case number by email, turned out letter was sent out 17/03.

Total time from sending off I-180 to receipt of passport - Just under 6 months.
Time from Interview to Visa in hand - 6 days (5 days after CEAC changed to issued). Told 2 weeks by all embassy staff on interview day - backlog cleared by 15/7

From start to finish, the process took THREE MONTHS AND THREE WEEKS. We had no delays, we filled out all paperwork as soon as we were able to, booked the first available medical appointment, and applied for the police certificate before we even got married, so we weren't slowed down. So I'd say our case shows that if you have everything in order, the best possible timeline is 14 weeks.
