My wife filed the I751 in July 2001. Received a NOA on Oct
8..extending the green card by 1 year. NOTHING since then!!

Questions.

9) So what is the timeline for either approval or interview to remove the temporary
residence conditon AT TSC Are people noticing similar delays.???

10) Suppose we come up on her 3 year mark being married to me later this year and
still no I751 removal of conditions ...Can she file for citizenship ....Could she
be approved for it and potentially never hear back from the INS about the I751
approval...

PS FOr the oldtimers...ALvena, Rete, Ranjini...!! Hi !!! Happy new year..We had a
baby boy late November about 6 weeks ago...

It can take up to a year for the approval. She still has a way to go yet.

She can apply for citizenship without the I-751 having been approved. She is not
alone in doing this. Another couple has done just that, applied for citizenship while
they are still waiting for the I-751 approval. They've been waiting since May 2000.
My take on it is that the two petitions will be taken care of at the same time.

CONGRATULATIONS. I know you must be quite happy with the new addition to the family.

My feeling is that you should be hearing from Texas any time now. Texas is very much
on the ball as regards approval of I-751 applications. Perhaps, some one who has
filed at Texas will correct me if I'm wrong. Check out: http://www.murthy.com for the
Texas timeline for removal of conditions. This site was very much spot on for
Nebraska, as far as we were concerned. Happy New year to you too, Shakeel and Lubna
and congratulations on your new baby!! That's wonderful news!! Warm regards, Ranjini
