Default I751 How much evidence?

Was wondering how much evidence others have put in with their 751 petitions.
We have, joint bank statements, tax returns, insurance documents, benificiary
documents.. What else did others send? also for things like joint bank
statements, do they want copies from the last two years or just a few to show
we have mixed finances. Any help is appreciated. Tim (USA) & Pola(Peru)

We sent ours in in May so still waiting on the slowest turn around on petitions Vermont issues -- 365 days so can only tell you what we submitted was all of the above plus cards and envelopes for holidays and anniversaries for the past two years, bank statments randomly selected over the last four years, affidavits from three family members and a dear friend, letters from employers attesting to marital status and beneficiaries of monetary and health plans, front pages of magazine subscriptions with both our names, a newspaper article on my husband from the Guard welcoming him to the unit and a biography of his life and current marriage (ours) with my name and occupation listed, and copies of two letters to the editor that I had written and were published by the Ottawa Sun in Canada.

My thoughts are give them as much as you have as sundry and mundane as it might appear, it is a testiment to your lives together.

You should be fine..we had a couple of wedding pictures as well. We used just a
few bank accountant statements and had a letter from the bank as well stating
when it became a joint account. But....they didn't ask to see any of it where
we were!! Asked a few questions, took another fingerprint, went over when to
expect the green card and what to do if it didn't show, and that was it! Always
best to be prepared though, just in case.. Good luck!

Hi:

One point often overlooked for some reason -- LIMIT yourself to documents from AFTER the grant of conditional residence.

Each case is diffrent.

The "gold standard" document is the child born to both of you!

You can't put in too much documentation: I would put in [if applicable], joint tax returns, leases or home ownership in both names, joint auto insurance. If you received them, copies of the envelopes of letters, christmas cards, wedding invitations addressed to BOTH of you with postmark showing. Documentation which might show that you are named as beneificiary on each other's employee benefits.

That is what I thought as well until I read the instructions for the I-751 and it clearly states evidence from the date of your marriage. So we went with bits and pieces from 1998 but the heaviest was from after 2000. They asked for it; they got it
;-)

Hi:

I've been in too many INTERVIEWS where the INS examiner wanted stuff POST-dating the green card.

On a related note, I know of a K-1 interview which was initially rejected,
because the fiance could not provide evidence of contact/communication with
her USC fiance dated PRIOR to the date of their engagement.
