I485 pending & job situation change
Hi,
My EAD has been approved...
Bad news is I may be 1 year, if not more, away from getting the Adjustment of Status adjudicated ( I485 filed in Feb04) and because of the time involved, there may be a change with my job situation, whether it's lay-off, promotion, change in position, etc.
How does BCIS regard any such changes, whether they are voluntary or due to a company re-organization or shutting down business?
Can I apply for any job using my newly issued EAD card while the I485 is pending or do I have to wait?
Once an I485 is approved, does that mean a green card is in sight or could it still be denied?
