I131 questions

Hi all,

Working my way through the paperwork for adjustment of status from a H1b (am currently in the US).

Have a couple of questions about the I131 which I was hoping someone could help with:
1. Part 3 - I don't have any specific plans for leaving the US - what should I put under 'date of intended departure' and 'expected length of trip'?
2. Part 7 - what exactly needs to be written in support of application?

Many thanks

Jonathan

Either "unknown" or just make something up. They won't hold you to it.

You mean the part where it says to explain how you qualify for Advance Parole, on a separate sheet of paper?

You qualify because you are filing an I-485. Include a photocopy of your signed I-485. See the I-131 instructions, page 8, part c (3).

Thanks for the reply - will make up a date and duration given that under 'date of intended departure' it only allows you to put a date in.
