mcjimbo,
IT seems the OP's date of Sep 3 is very close to yours and it is an I-129F. So it should be a matter of time.

For me though its still a tough wait. Dec 10th

Good luck

I'm ready to file the I-129F and I-134 applications in order to get the
fiancé visa process moving and would appreciate any helpful advise from
others who have experienced the process recently.

My fiancé and I personally met last summer at her home in the Philippines
and I have received all the documents from her I believe I need to file. I
would love to hear from anyone who has recently been through the process
with a Filipino fiancée, nothing could be more helpful than gaining the
experience of someone who has completed this process.

She is a widow and has provided me with certified copies of her birth,
marriage, and late husband's death certificate.
I live in Texas and will be going through the Texas processing center so any
experiences with them, timelines, causes of delay, etc I can find out about
upfront will help.

Some of my questions are:

How long does it take to get the Visa through the Texas processing center?

How many copies of the I-134 and supporting documentation do I need? The
instructions say to submit it in duplicate, but how many?

What if any additional supporting documentation will the consulate in the
Philippines require?

Both my fiancée and myself, though patient, are anxious to get the visa
process moving after waiting through several months of delay getting her
certified documents together, but finally we have them. We're both in our
40's and hope to marry before we're old and gray!
