hello to all.. I'm still waiting it been almost 280 days total.. and
on Nov 3, 2003 I have got an a letter for INS.. saying need more
paper.. send them more document on Nov 6 and got letter on Nov 13 and
its said:

" On November 13, 2003, we received your response to our request for
evidence or information. It is taking between 30 and 45 days for us to
process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was
complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum
stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this
case."

is there anyone with the same date out there waiting just like me and
could help me Y its taking tooooo long...........

What service center are you going through? Is this a petition for the k-1 visa? What was it that they requested from you?

We had the same response and was told it would take less than 30 days to get a reply but alas it went over the 45 day period so dont be worried if you dont' get a quick response. Would be wise to chase it up tho after the 45 days are up
