Default as i wait...what will come first?

Since I've filed I keep trying to run everything the girl told me what
will happen next. Im a bit confused. I think she said that in about
4 weeks I will get a notice to get my fingerprints done. So I'll go
and get that done. Then I think she said I will get another notice to
come get my EAD card??? And then another for my interview? Does this
sound right? Or when I go for my fingerprinting I will get my EAD
card the same day? I'm a bit confused on that. She was rambling on
so fast, and all the thoughts in my head like "yay we got through and
we didn't get turned away to come another day." Were floating in my
head. Any thoughts on this would be great thanks

That sounds right, from my experience anyway, (Seattle). Fingerprints then EAD and now I"m waiting to hear about my interview now..

I believe it varies by office. My husband received his EAD appt within 1 week and then came the advance parole documents (a couple days after) and then the finger prinitng notice (about 2 weeks later).
We filed in Los Angeles.
I don't think there is some official order it comes in, from what I have read here.
Feel free anyone to correct me if I am wrong.

I also applied through seattle and I received EAD in a month, then AP then fingerprinting then the interview. It appears not to be consistent.

Thanks very much This whole process a little more then I think
anyone can handle. Some people have it so easy other people have the
roughest time. Can't figure it all out! I guess all you can do is be
patient and wait. Thanks again

If it's any consulation we have had an easy time. I used to want to do it myself but we hired a lawyer to do it and I think it's worth every penny we paid to not have to worry about messing up a form.

Plus everything is going really quick, we have EAD, SSN, fingerprints, and AP, I am not sure what is next but I am looking forward to whatever it is.

Seattle here too, and if I understood right what they said I'm going
to get EAD, AP and FP all together in 6-8 weeks from filing.
Filing was October 2nd.
